This strategy was recently developed by Mass General Hospital to have a safe hospital environment and successfully keep their doctors and nurses healthy. Our plan was created to meet Miami Dade County The New Normal document specifications.
Thus, we will pay people who fail any of the screener questions to stay home or if they call in sick with COVID related symptoms.
We’ve been coming to this place for a few years now. Unsure how I’ve never reviewed it before but realized that there’s no time like now to give a positive review for my go-to weekend lunch spot!
Food is always delicious. I highly recommend the ceviche, chicken liver toast, deviled eggs, and grouper. Service is usually great. Sometimes is slammed but you just have to be patient and kind to the servers as they always try their best (and might even bring you a complimentary snack).
But my main reason for writing this is how they are handling COVID. We’ve eaten out only a few times since restaurants reopened and I’ve felt the safest at MGFD. Their staff wears masks properly (actually on their nose and mouth), offer you a paper bag to store your mask while eating, they have hand sanitizer on the tables, changed table layouts, even added extra trash cans so you can throw out your paper towel after using it to open the bathroom door. They use paper menus and offer cardless payment options using your smartphone with no need to install a special app.
I’m not at all surprised they handled covid so well. But still thankful and gracious. It’s easily worth the drive from FLL to Miami for a delicious and safe lunch.
Wow! Great service, probably some of the best in Miami. Ellick, my server, was prompt and overall accommodating. He offered a dog bowl for water and made sure I always had a full coffee, water and that my dogs were well taken care of, they even have homemade dog treats!!!!
They Turkey Sandwich was delightful filling yet light and a superb portion size. Definitely, worth the price.
